These 24 x 24 inch VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) paper sheets are treated at a 30 lb. basis weight to continuously emit corrosion-inhibiting molecular vapor. The vapor displaces moisture and oxygen within the enclosed packaging environment, protecting bare ferrous metal surfaces from rust, oxidation, and corrosion without requiring direct contact across the entire part.
These sheets are well-suited for wrapping machined parts, stamped components, tooling, hardware, and metal assemblies in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution environments. For maximum protection, completely enclose the metal component within the sheet. A standard application guideline calls for one square foot of VCI paper per cubic foot of enclosed packaging volume.
Each case contains 500 sheets at 30 lb. basis weight and ships via parcel carrier. Cases weigh approximately 32.62 lbs. each, making them practical for bulk restocking at production lines and fulfillment operations.
