Scotch® 130C Linerless Rubber Splicing Tape is a 30 mil self-fusing electrical tape engineered for primary insulation and splicing of solid dielectric power cables. Its ethylene propylene rubber backing conforms tightly to irregular surfaces and cable geometries, building void-free layers on contact — no release liner to remove. The rubber-resin adhesive creates a moisture-tight seal immediately upon application.
Rated for voltages up to 69,000V and a service temperature range of 0°F to 194°F, this tape is well suited for utility substations, industrial plant maintenance, and MRO operations where high-voltage cable reliability is critical.
